Volunteer
Those interested in volunteering at the facility may pick up an application from the Receptionist or Activities Director during normal working hours between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. A background check and orientation is required before volunteer service may begin. Individuals must be 14 years of age or older to volunteer.

There are a variety of ways in which individuals, families and friends of Suncrest can provide residents with much needed assistance. Times spent in reading or writing letters for the residents; facilitating religious services; passing out newspapers; helping with bingo or other group games or entertainment; taking residents outside in the nice weather, are all examples of ways an extra hand can be useful in giving time and talents to support programs at Suncrest. Sometimes just having a companion, or friend, stop by for a few minutes to visit brightens a resident’s day.
