Restorative Nursing Services

Restorative Nursing Services are provided to maintain functional levels of performance of activities of daily living. Another goal is to prevent complications associated with inactivity and to provide, as part of the interdisciplinary team, maximum health care services. Services are provided as prescribed by the physician. Inservices are provided as needed for the department and other staff members. Restorative nursing department works with skilled services to increase mobility and independence for the residents.

  • To prevent complications associated with inactivity.
  • To provide as part of the interdisciplinary team, maximum care services.


Of our 202 residents the restorative department performs specific modalities for approximately 50% of our residents which include: ROM, upper extremity equipment, specialized exercise, HMP, ambulation of residents who require extra assistance and our very popular 30 minute exercise class.
