Lapeer County Medical Care Facility is the only facility in the County licensed as a Skilled Nursing Facility. Nursing care is provided by a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants on every shift. The Registered Nurses assess, monitor, document and obtain physician orders per resident needs. Licensed Practical Nurses pass medications perform necessary treatments and document ongoing resident care, and the Certified Nursing Assistants provide the direct daily care for the residents in accord with their established needs. High quality resident care is our foremost goal.
